BOTOX SWEATING TREATMENT

Excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis) is an annoying problem for a person’s social life. Most people do not even know that they can get rid of it quickly and effectively and finally forget about their wet armpits, palms, and feet and the unpleasant smell of sweat.

When injected intradermally, Botox/Dysport blocks the transmission of signals from the nerve endings that regulate sweating to the sweat glands. Sweat is no longer/or minimally produced due to the fact that the sweat glands at the treated area, stop receiving impulses from the nervous system.

Usually, no anesthesia is used for a Botox injection. Those who are highly sensitive may use some anesthetic cream.

The first results from a Botox injection will be noticeable within a few days. After 1-2 weeks, the sweating will completely stop.

The achieved results are maintained for 6-12 months. In most cases, one procedure per year is sufficient and is recommended before the start of the summer period.
