RICH PLASMA THERAPY

Platelet Rich Plasma Therapy

The platelet rich plasma therapy is a treatment modality that has been in many medical specialties to promote tissue healing and regeneration. It Is  used in orthopedics to promote bone and tendon repair,in oral surgery, for repair of damaged cardiac muscle and in plastic surgery for wounds repair. PRP is the latest technology in anti-aging rejuvenation .Is using one’s own blood product, plasma, which is rich in platelets, to stimulate collagen.  Platelets contain bioactive proteins that replace, repair and regenerate tissue.  These proteins release growth factors, which trigger Mesenchymal Stem Cells (MSCs) to initiate collagen stimulation and growth.

Skin Rejuvenation

A small amount of the patient’s blood is drawn and centrifuged to extract the platelet rich plasma. The end result being two products: the concentrated plasma/platelets and the red/white blood cells.

The plasma/platelet product is then injected into the  area  we want to treat and activated.  During activation the platelets release the bioactive proteins.  When PRP is injected into the compromised area it causes a mild inflammation that signals healing.  As the platelets organize they release enzymes to promote tissue responses that attract stem cells to repair the damaged area.  The result is new collagen.

The benefits to Platelet Rich Plasma Therapy are: No synthetic product – the product is your body’s own tissue; no possibility of rejection, minimizing risk; Natural results – Improved skin texture; diminished lines and wrinkles; increased volume due to improved collagen and elastin; decreases dermal scarring;  Crepe skin around the eye, neck and décolletage is tightened; Minimal down time and short recovery period; No sedation required, only slight discomfort during treatment;Side effects may include: Pain and/or itching at the injection site;Bruising and redness of the skin.

PRP Hair Loss Treatment

The hair loss treatment PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) is an innovative method for the treatment of hair loss in men and women. It is based on the platelet rich plasma which is directly injected in the areas of the scalp showing dilution.

As a method, the PRP is highly effective both as a hair loss treatment and as a treatment to aid hair transplantation. However the method is not appropriate in areas where there is no presence of follicles.

When implemented as a hair loss treatment, PRP is able to reactivate the impaired hair follicles that do not operate properly in order to provide invigorated hair larger in diameter and length.

In which cases do we implement PRP?

PRP treatment is applied to men & women who suffer from hair loss at early or advanced stages:

·    For the treatment of Androgenetic Alopecia

·    As a supportive treatment to Hair Transplantation

·  For the treatment of hair loss of various causes

·  To prevent hair loss

The results of PRP treatment
