Facial fillers

Fillers, such as Juvéderm™ and Restylane®, are safe, effective, FDA-approved injectable gels that gently smooth away moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, and restores volume and contour to the skin of the face. Both are made of hyaluronic acid (HA), a natural, biocompatible, water-binding gel that is found throughout your body. Since it is not of animal or human origin there is no risk of allergic reactions to HA. Facial fillers are designed to smooth out wrinkles and fine lines, sculpt lips, and shape facial various contour irregularities. They are especially effective around the nasolabial folds (deep furrows from the root of the nose to the angle of your mouth), and the glabellar lines (between the eyebrows) and generally where there are static (permanent) wrinkles at the face. With minimal patient downtime and discomfort, the results are immediate and natural-looking.

Hyaluronic acids for tissue augmentation (Juvéderm Voluma, Restylane SubQ, Sculptra, Ellansé) are designed and used to restore the lost volume of the face and bring back your youthful beauty, vitality and attractiveness, lost with the process of aging. The hyaluronic acid filler is injected into the specific fat buttress regions of the face. The procedure restores the three dimensional structure of the soft tissue fat pads of the facial structures without surgery or the associated down time of a outpatient surgical Face Lift. The duration of your injectable lift effect will vary depending upon the product used. With the newer products available you can expect the effects to last from one to two years. Cheek and Chin Augmentation are very frequent procedures performed with the use of facial fillers when surgery is not wanted.
